• 33 yr career in CA City Government including 20 yrs as Police Chief (14 yr Manhattan Beach, 6 yr in Placerville)

• USC Master of Public Administration Degree

• California Executive Credential - State Commission P.O.S.T.

• Participated in over 450 City Council Meetings giving him priceless City Government experience with first-hand knowledge of what works and doesn't work in City government

• 14 yrs successfully created and managed 1/3 of Manhattan Beach's general fund operating budget

• Since 2001, regularly attends City of Indian Wells Council Meetings

• Volunteers his expertise to the City's Public Safety Administration for Indian Wells' residents benefit

• Vice Chairman of IW Architecture/Landscape Committee

• Current President of Colony Cove Homeowners' Association - Indian Wells

• Developed innovative community partnerships and model programs for Manhattan Beach and Los Angeles County that were recognized at State and National levels

• On 6 occasions organized and led a team of Police Chief delegates to Washington, DC to meet with administration executives and Congressional Representatives to obtain votes and support for legislative bills and grants important to law enforcement for enhancement of public safety
