Qualifications and Positions of Bob Baker for City Council
Important Message for San Clemente Voters:

Our priority must be residents first, not the interests of out of town developers. We must stop over-development and traffic gridlock from ruining our quality of life. We can make this happen by electing two new City Council members with this same vision.

I was a leader in the Save San Clemente Open Space referendum, "No" on Measure C was passed by 69% of voters. Three city council members voted in favor of paving over our Open Space. Some have accepted campaign funds from developers. Out of town special interests should not influence our City's decisions. I won't accept campaign contributions from anyone in excess of $99.00.

My wife, Pam, and I are 20-year residents. Our children graduated from San Clemente High. I participated in and support, Boys and Girls Club, Indian Guides, Little League, Girls' Softball, San Clemente Educational Foundation, Citizens for Integrity in Development and Casa Romantica.

I am a commercial airline Captain flying transpacific routes. i graduated from the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis and flew the F-4 Phantom jet fighter from the U.S.S. Roosevelt, earning the National Defense Service Medal while on active duty.

Vote for new leadership to put Residents First! www.ElectBBaker@Cox.net
