  • After high school, I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and served in Vietnam. I served on the Orange Fire Department for 30 years.
  • Kathy (my wife of 32 years) and I raised our family in Orange Unified, and our four children are the fifth generation to grow up in Orange.
  • My wife, Kathy, is a school teacher, as is our son, Casey.
  • Our three sons graduated from Orange Unified Schools, and our daughter still attends school here in our community.
  • I'm not a politician, and my family hasn't served in political office.
  • I'm just a concerned citizen and family man looking for another way to serve my community.
Priorities:
  • Complete Accountability with Taxpayer Dollars, End Rubber Stamping of Spending Bills
  • OUSD Must Live within its Means, More Money into the Classroom and Not into Wasteful Bureaucracy
  • More Oversight in All Areas of the Budget, Expand the Regional Occupation Program and Create More Career Technical Education Programs
