I work on the Council and represent the council on regional boards such as The Waste Management, Marine Sanctuary, Monterey-Salinas Transit, and Association of Monterey Bay Area Governments(AMBAG.
I am progmatic, objective, and eager to study and discuss varied viewpoints. As a council member, I have worked impartially and fair for the residents of Monterey. I believe that the City of Monterey should provide leadership to: -Improve the infrasture--roads, sewer, storm drains
-Create a sustainable water supply
-Improve public transportation
-Preserve Monterey's rich cultural diversity
-Preserve Monterey's historical culture and buildings
-Maintain current level of police/fire protection
-Maintain the Monterey Library
-Support the Neigborhood Improvement Program (NIP)
-Provide a vibrant downtown business district
