Carre is a fifth generation Mendocino County Resident with a lifelong concern for our county and our people. Born and raised in Ukiah, Carre is married to Lewis Brown and lives with him on their Potter Valley cattle and hay ranch. They have raised four children and have two grandchildren.

Carre has been a defender of our county's water, natural resources and environment. She has been a Mendocino County Farm Bureau member for 32 years and its Executive Administrator for the last 22 years, protecting our rural way of life.

A lifetime of community service Carre has been honored for her lifetime of community service.

-Mendocino County 4-H's Keith Barnes Leader Award

-Redwood Empire Fair - Directors Award for service to youth
-Honoree of the first Integrity Award, Mendocino Winegrowers Alliance
