John W. (Fred) Lantz is a California Registered Civil Engineer and holds a Master of Arts in History from California State University, Fullerton, and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.

Mr. Lantz has 37 years of experience within southern California municipal water and power agencies, having formerly served as manager of the City of Burbank and City of Riverside water systems.

In prior years at Burbank he served as President of the Upper Los Angeles River Area Watermaster, Chairman of the Interagency Coordinating Committee, and as Burbank's representative on the Metropolitan Water District Board.

Mr. Lantz has been on the Three Valleys for eight years and presently serves the Board as Vice President, Chairman of the Finance/Personnel Committee, and the District representative on the Six Basins Watermaster Board.

Mr. Lantz is CEO of Lantz Enterprises, LLC and has been a resident of Pomona since 1970, where his wife Paula H. Lantz serves on the Pomona City Council.
