Biographical Highlights
  • Occupation: Detective
  • 33 years with LAPD, this includes Patrol Officer, Sergeant & Detective supervisory experience.
  • My detective experience includes homicide, juvenile narcotics, and family violence. In these area's I have worked with teenagers.
  • I have received the Medal of Valor, Police Star, & in 2008 NAPO's Top Cop Honorable Mention Award.
  • I have 6 children and 7 grandchildren, with three of these attending in ETUSD.
  • I have a BA in Criminal Justice from Cal State College San Bernardino with a minor is sociology.
  • I served in the U.S. Army from 1970-1972.
