I advocate for a Health Element in the General Plan. I want to development solutions to the diabetes and obesity crisis.
I support a Health Element in the City of San Pablo General Plan that supports healthy eating and active lifestyles. It is imperative that our city find viable solutions to the diabetes and obesity crisis. I support a fee placed on non-nutritional food sales to create a fund governed by the city, health care providers, the school district, the business community and representation especially constituency that is impacted with particular severity by the diabetes and obesity crisis.
