Position Papers
Priorities: Public Safety
While Fremont has a history of being a safe place to live, work, raise a family and run a business. But our community's safety needs are changing, as we see the incidents of crimes like robbery. The source of this change is not solely driven by the people and activities within our city.
Priorities: Economic Development
Without well paying jobs and new businesses that add to the organic vitality of Fremont, we will become a stagnant, undesirable place to live.
Priorities: Transportation
Great opportunities exist for Fremont to benefit from transit oriented development. This approach can bring about real change to enhance our city and personal lifestyles by creating a vibrant downtown, a vital Irvington district, and a reinvigorated Warm Springs. We can achieve this by increasing access to transportation while taking steps to reduce traffic generated noise and congestion.
