- Provide a variety of accessible and affordable recreation facilities and services to all residents and communities in the District.
- Promote Recycling and Waste Reduction programs throughout the District.
- Work closely with Alamdeda County, City of Hayward, School Districts, and private entities to fund park acquisition, development and maintenance.
