My Green Campaign

By Nick Pilch

Candidate for Councilmember; City of Albany

This information is provided by the candidate
I'm doing everything I can to conduct my campaign in accordance with my sustainable values.
I pledge to make my campaign as green as possible.

I will ride my bicycle around town and drive as little as possible.

I pledge to use the internet as much as possible for the dissemination of information (saving paper).

The hosting provider that runs my website is carbon neutral (dreamhost.com)! I'm really excited about that. So please sign up for campaign updates online and you can feel good about your carbon output.

I pledge to use recycled or recycled materials for my campaign materials unless they are unavailable or prohibitively expensive (I have accepted campaign finance limits).

I will recycle all my materials at the end of my campaign. If you have a lawn sign from me, please recycle the sign, and I will take back the metal frame for use in another campaign.

I will use union print shops where applicable.

Do you have have leads on good printers using soy inks or any other leads for me on sources of green campaign materials (like recycled lawn sign frames)? If so, please email me at: nickpilch4albany@gmail.com
