LIFE NECESSITIES

By Elizabeth "Liz" King

Candidate for Mayor; City of Dublin

This information is provided by the candidate
It is time for our citizens to prepare for economic depression and natural disasters. This is not the time to be spending money on frivilous projects.
It is the time to prepare for depression and life necessities for all the citizens of Dublin.

STOP FORECLOSURE Many of our citizens have been prey upon by mortgage lenders. In the past few years over 3000 brokers have lost their license in the bay area. As your mayor, an experienced loan officer, I will be a voice to congress to bailout our citizens from losing their right to property, not just bailout for the banks, but bailout for our citizens. The laws enacted to help with the foreclosure market are based upon the banks volunteering. I've got news for congress the banks are not volunteering anything, until its too late. Plain and simple let the free enterprise system heal itself by giving our citizens assistance in the difference of appraisal to refinance back into the low interest rates and back into the affordable payments they started with. And we will address this problem at city level.

SCHOOLS Local schools should not be closing with doubling in population these past 8 years. As your mayor I plan to implement the Dublin Public School Foundation which is a legal way for money to be channeled from the city to the schools. It shall be a program for businesses and donators to have a tax write off. Work together with school board to build a New Community Theater for our youth in our Schools. It is necessary for our students to have many school programs that will qualify them to enter the top colleges and universities in the nation.

POLICE I will present to the Police Captain "OPERATION VENUS FLYTRAP" It is necessary that our streets are designed that considered the protection of our neighborhoods. I'll be your mayor that has zero tolerance for drug dealers. Any family that has ANY signs of violence all parties involved will be subject court ordered counselling.

SENIORS The Senior Center is a wonderful place for social activities - I applaud all those involved who have laid the base and foundation of this center. Participants are concerned about the cost of food and activities. I will address these issues
