Keeping Missourians safe and secure is the keystone without which no other benefits can be supported.Immigration allowed America to grow and prosper. Unregulated, illegal immigration can easily cause the demise of all we hold dear. I will support measures to prevent illegal immigrants from receiving services and support which should be reserved for legal residents. By assuring only those qualified for benefits receive them, we can ensure they will be available to older Missourians and those in need of assistance. Medicaid and subsidized tuition should only be provided to people legally receiving them. Allowing improper utilization of Missouri's resources would soon cause a reduction in needed help for deserving individuals and families. My goal is to strengthen laws to prevent the misuse of health and education benefits.Missourians received enhanced privileges for self defense with the Concealed Carry Law and the Castle Doctrine. I will support efforts to promote safety and the continued success of this legislation. |
