State Representative; District 70; Democratic Party

Jack Chase is a proud resident of St. Louis County. He has resided in Northwoods,"The Garden City" for over fourty years. He attended Coahoma Jr. College and the University of Missouri -St. Louis. Jack retired from the Plastics/Chemical Industry after fourty years of successful employment. He is married to Bernice Chase. They are the parents of three adult children and grandparents of three granddaughters.

He has many years of community service. Jack has volunteered as a Parent Booster Member for Normandy High School,Assistant Coach in the Little League Baseball Association, and as a Cub Scout Leader. He is also a Mathew Street Block Unit Supporter.

Jack Chase is a member of Christ Memorial Church where he was selected to serve in many leadership roles. These roles include: Sunday School Teacher, Deacon,and Children Church Leader. He has also participated in Annual Food and Clothing Drive initiatives to aid those less fortunate in the community.

He is currently a Second Ward Alderman for the City of Northwoods. Jack was elected by his community to serve in this capacity for six terms. He is a former President of the Board of Alderman and was previously appointed Commissioner of the Northwoods Police Department. Other political experience includes: Political Organizer for America Coming Together( ACT) for the 2004 presidential election and the 2006 general election. As a participant in the ACT organization, he supported legislation (HB 1433) to raise the minimum wage. This legislation allowed hardworking Missourians across the state to experience an increase in wages for the first time in 10 years. The work of this organization also supported the election of many of our current elected Democratic officials, including U.S. Senator Claire McCaskill.

If elected as your State Representative, Jack Chase will fight for quality education, affordable healthcare,and a senior citizen discount drug plan. He will also support a strong urban renewal plan for our community.
