1. What are your Qualifications for Office? (50 word limit)

Answer from David L. Pentland:

Lawyer Prosecuting Attorney Warson Woods Alderman 25th Ward St. Louis Democratic Central Committeeman Board Member of Merchant & Manufacturers Tax Board Jefferson Township President Alumni of Brentwood High School Prader Willi Association Mary Ryder Home Governor of the Missouri Athletic CLub Member of Rotary, Scottish Society, USTA, Metro Golf

Answer from Byron Walker DeLear:

-Extensive economic experience in the private sector
-Numerous local, national and international endorsements
-Valuable diplomatic experience in the Middle East
-A record of winning support from across party lines
-Media professional in the communications industry
-Recognized speaker and public advocate

Answer from Mike Garman:

I am a thirty year resident of the 2nd District. I am a healthcare professional and elected board member for the St. Charles County Ambulance District. I have managed successful businesses. I work hard, listen to issues and provide plausible solutions.


2. What plans do you have to address your top three priorities? (50 word limit)

Answer from David L. Pentland:

Request Committee assignments best suited to address my priorities as listed. Contat with legislature of like mind to work jointly to study and propose solutions. To retain personnel for staff to best study and recommend sound solutions. Propose these recommendations to citizens of Second District study their responses.

Answer from Mike Garman:

Show how healthcare should not be a commodity or benefit, but a right. I support HR 676. Additional Federal funding for education to insure our children are prepared for the future. Close loop holes that reward corporations for leaving our shores.

Answer from Byron Walker DeLear:

Energy policies that lower our price at the pump and rebuild our economy, trade policies that protect our jobs, our workers, and our major employers. Not one-sided decisions that serve special interests. I will work with both Democrats and Republicans in Washington to make balanced decisions for Missouri and America.
