Answer from Martha "Marty" Ott:

As a 30-year teacher, believing in public service, I have served in leadership positions in many local and state educational, women's, and political organizations. I was the recipient of the Women Legislators of Missouri's "Dedication to Education" and the Missouri NEA's "Individual Excellence in Political Action" awards.

Answer from Joseph D. "Joe" Gambino:

Born, raised & educated in Missouri, I have been living in my district 31 years. 30 years Real-estate / Brokers license. 12 years St. Louis County Contractor's license 15 years of Corporation employment, 15 years of small business ownership and knowledge gained irreplaceable with formal education

2. What plans do you have to address your top three priorities? (50 word limit)

Answer from Joseph D. "Joe" Gambino:

  • Big box business controls the destiny of this country existence and that is not the way it should be! "I want to stop that movement!" And I will work hard to accomplish that with my past experience in Corporation & Small business ownership.

Answer from Martha "Marty" Ott:

I place high priorities on improving affordability and availability of health care for individuals, and opportunities for small businesses to provide affordable employee healthcare benefits. Creating "green collar jobs", protecting our environment, funding our k-12 public schools, and providing affordable higher education are concerns we must address.
