1. What are your Qualifications for Office? (50 word limit)

Answer from Maria N. Chappelle-Nadal:

My qualifications include: Working as a community activist, having a genuine concern about social justice issues, being ready to stand up and defend progressive issues even when unpopular, strong research skills, ability to synthesize information for floor debate and working for former Lt. Governor Joe Maxwell in a statewide capacity.

2. What plans do you have to address your top three priorities? (50 word limit)

Answer from Maria N. Chappelle-Nadal:

As for public education, I seek a comprehensive approach w/o vouchers. For seniors, we MUST direct state funds to in-home care services. As for the environment, I will continue to support consumer-friendly incentives and policy that will allow Missourians to consciously invest in high-efficiency products.
