1. What are your Qualifications for Office? (50 word limit)

Answer from Kristy J Manning:

In my six years working in the state legislature, I have witnessed our representatives make foolish decisions motivated by politics, not people or making sound public policy. I believe it is time to stop playing partisan politics and start seeking sensible solutions to real issues. I will represent the people.

2. What plans do you have to address your top three priorities? (50 word limit)

Answer from Kristy J Manning:

I plan to work across party lines to craft sensible legislation that address the issues and my priorities. As a staffer, I studied the issues, learned possible solutions, collaborated with all sides, negotiated legislative language and worked to pass bills. I will continue to build on those successes and experience.

Responses to questions asked of each candidate are reproduced as submitted to the League.  Candidates' statements are presented as submitted. Word limits apply for each question. Direct references to opponents are not permitted.
