Sheriff; City of Saint Louis; Democratic Party Voter Information

4 Year Term.

The Sheriff must hold a valid peace officer license and never have been convicted of a felony. The Sheriff is the princpal peace officer for the county, operates the county jail, carries out orders of the circuit court, serving subpoenas, warrants, summonses, and other court orders, issues permits for carrying concealed weapons, and maintains a record of sex offenders living in the county

This contest will only appear on Democratic party ballots.
