A veteran attorney, I know a STRONG, FAIR justice system is vital to our future, and pledge to work to ensure it remains a top priority to protect all Ventura County.

I am ENDORSED by Ventura County Deputy SHERIFFS' Association; law enforcement professionals; Associate Justice Steven Perren, California Court of Appeal; Judges Walsh, Lane, Rigali, and Johnson (ret.); and respected officials including Richard Dean, former Ventura County Clerk; John Baker, former Ventura City Manager; Past Bar Presidents James McBride, Ron Harrington, Donald Hurley, and Carmen Ramirez; as well as Richard Frances (SOAR architect); and the many community leaders listed at Roberto4Judge.com.

A former Special Deputy DISTRICT ATTORNEY and Ventura County attorney since 1990, I have regularly advised Sheriffs; District Attorneys; Superior Court judges; Supervisors; Mobile Home Rent Review Board Members; Civil Service, Agricultural, and Planning Commissioners; Elections, Harbor, and Transportation directors; and others.

An HONORS graduate from Notre Dame University Law School, I received the prestigious William H. Rehnquist Award for Academic Excellence.

My wife and I attended Thomas Aquinas College near Ojai and live with our eight children in Santa Paula. Active in church and community, I am a board member of my children’s school.
