Five Reasons Why I Want to be a Congressman

By Frank Henry Wade

Candidate for United States Representative; District 12; Democratic Party

This information is provided by the candidate
There are five major reasons why I want to be a Congressman.

1.) Expert in Foreign Affairs. I was Career Foreign Service Officer of Inspector General, USAID. I spent thirty years in Africa and the Middle East in private business and government work.

2.) Expert in Taxes. As a CPA, I worked for the Franchise Tax Board. I have had a private tax practice for twenty years.

3.) Expert in Sarbanes Auxley. For the past ten years I have implement SAX controls in US companies and foreign American-owned companies. I have also implemented UK-Commonwealth King and King2 controls. I intend to increase the SAX controls over American businesses. One King2 control I want implemented in the USA is the renumeration committee which ensures all salaries are reviewed by a permanent committee composed of outside non-executive directors.

4.) Expert in the INS. I call for a reform of the immigration laws of the US so they are predictable and applied uniformly to all aliens. Controls and transparency present in the IRS, Social Security Administration, the Armed Services, and other agencies should be implemented in the INS. Immigration for spouses of American citizens can take 10 years. INS officers have agendas to circumvent immigration laws by delays, loss of documents, inappropriate attention to unimportant detail, and threat of prosecution against filers.

5.) Pro-Union. I worked six years as a Compliance Auditor for the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Pension Fund. I ensured that Teamsters got their fair share of benefits. I was a consultant to the National Mine Workers of South Africa for two years.
