By Wayne Dunlap

Candidate for United States Representative; District 50; Libertarian Party

Real change will not come from trading power back and forth from the two major political parties. They are too entrenched in political favors to affect real change.
`Change' is an often spoken of in this election. Real change will not come from trading power back and forth from the two major political parties. They are too entrenched in political favors to affect real change. Although the politicians say they want more efficient government, our government just keeps getting larger and issues important to Americans do not get addressed.

People believe that they can effect change by voting for the other dominant political party when they do not like what their party is doing. In actuality, the other political party feels that you are now endorsing their policies. Remember when President Bush won by the slimmest of margins, even losing the popular vote, and then claimed a "mandate" for his policies.

A vote for a third party candidate is the only way to get their attention, change their beliefs, and bring about real change. By failing to vote for what you truly want you are telling the politicians that you endorse their usual high tax, big government agenda. It is time to put choice and responsibility back into your hands. The Libertarian Party is the largest third party in America with 600 elected officials nationwide truly representing hard working taxpayers in American and supporting issues close to the hearts of residents in the 50th District.

Wayne Dunlap offers real change and has the experience to make it happen.
