Ballot Statement

By Larry D. Dick

Candidate for Member of the State Assembly; District 60; Republican Party

This information is provided by the candidate
I am a conservative and I signed the NO NEW TAX PLEDGE because I am committed to fighting high taxes. I'm proud to have earned the endorsement of Congressman Royce and the Orange County Taxpayers Association.

The California Republican Party unanimously supported my resolution to preserve the 2/3 vote requirement to pass budgets and to preserve taxpayer protections like Proposition 13.

I've earned the support of law enforcement leaders including District Attorney Tony Rackauckas, who trust me to fight illegal immigration by securing the border, denying driver's licenses to illegals and outlawing bail bondsmen from bailing illegals out of jail.

Illegal immigration is a threat to national security. I toured the border with Assemblyman Tran and members of the National Guard, we must do more to secure our borders. I'm honored to have the support of the leaders of the California Border Patrol Initiative.

As a business owner, I understand that removing excessive red tape and government bureaucracy will strengthen our economy. I'll fight the liberals and their tax and spend ways to prevent more jobs from leaving California.

My service on boards and commissions at the city, county, and regional level has prepared me to work for a more efficient, responsive and accountable government.

I'm honored that Congressman Calvert and Royce every Orange County Supervisor, Senators Ackerman, Harman and former California Transportation Commissioner Marian Bergeson, Mayors Cavecche, Winder, Reese, Asemblymembers Duvall, Sptizer, Tran and Walters trust me to get the job done in Sacramento.

I would appreciate your vote.
