Sonoma County, CA June 3, 2008 Election
Smart Voter

It Matters to all of us

By Victor Szendi

Candidate for Member, Democratic Party County Central Committee; County of Sonoma; Supervisorial District 2

This information is provided by the candidate
The voice of the voter in Supervisorial Districts 2 must be heard.
Issues of importance for our county and Supervisorial District 2 voters, from my perspective, include: Economic and job issues for Sonoma County, the issue of universal healthcare, protection of our environment, illegal immigration solution, fair trade issues affecting our county and state, global warming, energy dependency, the financial and mortgage mess in our county, quality education, and opposition to the war in Iraq, We must work to elect Democrats, and increase the impact of Sonoma County Democratic Central Committees' political power. Build outreach and cooperation with rural county Democrats in party-building projects. These are just some of the pressing problems I see as part of the on-going agenda for the Sonoma County Democratic Central Committee to address. We need a vibrant and active Central Committee. What passed before will not do. Supervisorial District 2 Democrats cannot be hostage to Central Committee inaction and the doctrine of internal divisiveness. There must be strong unity and cooperation to advance the Sonoma County Democratic agenda.
