Why I am running

By Dan Monte

Candidate for Member, Democratic Party County Central Committee; County of Sonoma; Supervisorial District 5

Why I am running

I am on the June ballot because I want to help the Sonoma County Democratic Party become an effective force for our progressive community. I will need your help.

As a progressive activist, I met with and helped our Congresswoman, Lynn Woolsey, find her way to endorsing impeachment. I co-founded the impeachment resolution coalition and helped write the resolution that the Santa Rosa City Council passed. I have developed Sonoma's Precinct Captains program and have trained many of the activists. I attend many of Sonoma County Democratic Clubs.

I can help the Sonoma County Democratic Central Committee find its way to create an activist Democratic Party.

The Central Committee needs committed members who will make it a priority to create an effective Sonoma County Democratic Party. For too long this committee has fought tactical struggles for individual interests.

Now is the time to elect a member who will use his proven skills and ample time (I am retired) to make the Sonoma County Democratic Party one that we can all be proud of.

Vote for Dan Monte Democratic County Central Committee
