County Supervisor; Sonoma County; Supervisorial District 5

My entire life I have called Sonoma County home and I am committed to protecting and nourishing this magnificent place. I will bring a fresh perspective and a new voice to problem solving, bridging old differences and disagreements.

Growing up in the Roseland area gaveme a unique understanding of the importance of safe neighborhoods and schools. I will work with families, law enforcement, and schools to make our streets safe from gangs and violence.

Studying Environmental Economics and Policy at UC Berkeley developed the foundation of my commitment to ensuring a healthy environment for future generations. I have been directly involved in our community on issues concerning healthcare, public safety, water policy, job development, affordable housing, the environment, and agriculture. As your Supervisor I will apply my leadership experience to ensure our county remains beautiful and healthy.

I'll work to prevent sprawl by upholding voter enacted urban growth boundaries, improve water quality, continue work to restore the Russian River and wild fish runs, protect our treasured resources, protect our family farms from development pressures, and reduce global warming emissions.
