Adam Hill worked his way through undergraduate and graduate schools. After receiving his B.A. in Government from the University of Maryland, his M.A. in English from Fresno State, and his M.F.A. in Writing from Louisiana State University, Adam moved to SLO County in 1995. He teaches at Cal Poly and is married to Ginny Bayly-Hill, a tile designer and recent Habitat for Humanity Board Member. Adam is stepfather to Kate, Burl, and Russell Vreeland. He and Ginny live with their dogs Alice and Nora in Grover Beach.
Adam Hill has always been very involved with the community. He was a board member for the Food Bank Coalition of SLO County from 2003-2007, and he served as president from 2004-2007. Currently, Adam Hill in a member of the following organizations:
