Candidate's statement for the voters guide.

By John R. Edwards

Candidate for Trustee; San Diego Community College District; Trustee Area B

This information is provided by the candidate
English should be the official language of the United States.
The candidate's statement for your voters guide is only 400 words and it cost more than 1,000 dollars.

The candidate's statement once was a good idea, to help candidates, but now an idea abused by liberal PC good intentions. Congress passed a politically correct law that required the statement be translated into three other languages. The translators must be paid by the candidate.

How many citizens do not know English? If not, how can they vote? English is the language that unites us, as Americans. English is the language of freedom. English should be our official language. Citizens must know English to understand a debate, an initiative, a bond measure,

The Registrar of voters must print ballots in English while rotating the order of candidates from precinct to precinct so position won't give unfair advantage. Then they do it in three other languages. Who runs this zoo?
