THE PEOPLE vs. ARMANDO GARCIA

Armando Garcia and three fellow gang members attempted to retaliate against their rivals. They approached a house at midnight and opened fire. However, it was the wrong house. One of the innocent victims was shot in the chest and rushed to the hospital. A portion of his lung was removed in order to save his life.

Charges: Gang related attempted murder

THE PEOPLE vs. CHARLES NOPPE

A shop teacher at Temescal Canyon High School in Lake Elsinore molested two of his male students. A search of his house revealed numerous examples of child pornography.

Charges: Kidnapping, child molestation, possession of child pornography

THE PEOPLE vs. PATRICK RENTERIA

Patrick Renteria's wife wanted to leave him because of his history of domestic violence. Renteria responded by picking up their 5-year old daughter at school. He took her home and waited for his wife. When she arrived he stabbed her and stomped her to death in front their daughter.

Charges: Murder, witness intimidation, child endangerment
