Council Member; Proposed City of Menifee Valley

Currently Darcy works for County Supervisor Marion Ashley. Her job duties include representing the Supervisor at meetings and events and she is involved with Economic Development, Planning, Transportation, Land-Use, Flood Control, Habitat Conservation Planning and other regional issues that impact Riverside County. She regularly attends and participates with the following regional bodies:
WRCOG- Western Riverside Council of Governments
RCTC- Riverside County Transportation Commission
RCA- Regional Conservation Authority
CVAG- Coachella Valley Association of Governments

Working for Supervisor Ashley has been a challenging and rewarding experience. Darcy has been involved in many of the accomplishments that Supervisor Ashley has achieved:
- Formation of the Municipal Advisory Council (MAC) in the Lakeview/Nuevo area.
- Developed Rural Design Guidelines for Lakeview/Nuevo
- Worked to develop the Ethanac Corridor Design Guidelines
- Established an Off Highway Vehicle(OHV) Commission to identify potential parks within Riverside County and work with California State Parks
- Developed a community infrastructure funding and phasing program to accommodate growth in Lakeview/Nuevo area which includes roads, parks, community facilities, public safety, libraries, fire and child care.
- Coordinated with the Riverside County Economic Development Agency and industrial developers to implement the Highway 74 Beautification Project.
- Assisted with creating the Riverside County Water Taskforce and the Riverside County Water Symposium, now in its fifth year.

Her career has revolved around business. From training and development in the hospitality industry to owning her own small business as a consultant and certified tax preparer, to CEO of the Menifee Valley Chamber of Commerce to her current position with Supervisor Ashley.

Darcy has focused her education on business, economics and organizational management. She has attended Palomar College, University of San Diego and has earned several professional development certificates. She is currently working towards her Bachelors degree in Business Administration.

Volunteering and community service have been a priority to Darcy. She is dedicated to investing her time in things that are important to improving the community and making a better future for those that live, work, play and retire in the Menifee Valley.

Darcy loves animals and has regularly rescued many types of unwanted pets and farm animals. They have made their home welcome to a pot belly pig, Moluccan Cockatoos', Rex Rabbits and their beloved welsh corgi. Their farm also includes pigmy goats, chickens, roosters, turkeys and the visiting mallard ducks.

Darcy, her husband Tom and their three daughters have lived in Menifee since 1992.
