Parker is very involved with Democratic Party organizations including: President, Valley Democrats United, Vice President, Progressive Democrats of Los Angeles, Officer at large of the Progressive Caucus of the California Democratic Party, Platform Committee of the Cal. Brad is a Progressive Democrat who is actively organizing Democrats across the state around Progressive Policy including: Withdrawal from Iraq without delay, Single Payer Universal Healthcare, Secure Elections, Clean Money and more.

Brad Parker has topped the charts as an artist, songwriter, producer and musician in North America, Asia and Europe. Parker's music has earned him gold and platinum awards in countries around the world. In America, his hit Country song "Nobody's Gonna Rain On Our Parade", recorded by Kathy Mattea, earned him BMI awards in 1996 as well as a BMI "Million-airs" citation for over 1 million broadcast performances. Cher, Edgar Winter and many others have recorded his songs. Parker has performed with many artists including Bo Diddley, Cyndi Lauper, Canned Heat, John Densmore, Greg Allman, Johnny Rivers, Eddie Money and Dan Fogelberg. In 2001 Parker launched Riozen records with a release of his CD "moonology" as well as "Christmas Card" (performed with acclaimed Irish singer/songwriter Eleanor McEvoy). Parker is co-founder of the direct to consumer, music marketing and promotion online search engine, "http://www.muzlink.com", with his partner, Wayne Williams.
