Albert Abrams is a PR and creative marketing professional who specializes in local and national campaign issues, political candidates, professional sports athletes, book authors, and companies specializing in the interactive digital entertainment industry.

Al is very involved in his community, serving on the Tarzana Neighborhood Council, the Board of Trustees of the Mirman School and as Budget Representative for Mayor Villaraigosa for the South Valley Planning Area. Al also provides Pro Bono public affairs and fundraising work on behalf of VIC, the Valley Interfaith Council

In his political work, Al has been a campaign manager and PR consultant to political candidates and ballot measures. In the past, he has worked for Sen. Robert Kennedy of Massachusetts, Sen. Philip Hart of Michigan, Sen. Al Gore Sr. of Tennessee, former Supreme Court Justice Arthur Goldberg, President Jimmy Carter of Georgia, and locally on behalf of candidates and ballot measures in the Los Angeles area including Tsila Berman (Candidate for L.A. 3rd District City Council), Ballot Measure H (Agoura Hills) and Ballot Measure Z (Westlake Village). Al was campaign manager for Mayor Phillipa Klessig of Westlake Village.

Al has been the subject of articles in the New York Times, Advertising Week, Corporate Communications Magazine and Games Business Magazine. Al lectures on innovative, cutting-edge uses of PR and new digital media and was a featured speaker for three consecutive years at E3, the Electronic Entertainment Exposition, held each May in Los Angeles.

On the creative side, Al's work has garnered a Gold Medal from the New York International Film Festival and an Addy Award for Broadcast Advertising. Al was screenwriter for the 10-part PBS series, "Mechanical Universe", which has won multiple awards worldwide and was nominated for a Peabody Award for Broadcast Excellence.
