Improving Educational Opportunities. To maintain high quality education for Hermosa’s schools, support classroom instruction, maintain and create small class sizes, and preserve educational programs, shall Hermosa Beach City School District levy a parcel tax for Two Hundred Fifty-Seven Dollars ($257) per assessor parcel per year, not to exceed a 5% annual increase, for five (5) years, with exemptions available for seniors and disabled persons, a citizens’ oversight committee, accountability measures and all funds being used locally?
