Cecilia "CES" ROSALES is an elected Delegate from the 14th Assembly District to the California Democratic Party and is an Associate on the Democratic Central Committee.

Cecilia is a member of the CDP Women's and Progressive Caucuses. She is on the Executive Committee and is the Communications Coordinator of the Wellstone Democratic Renewal Club. She has served on the board and was the Nominations Chair of the National Center for Lesbian Rights.

Cecilia's long history of active grassroots organizing work began as a student activist in the Philippines working against the Marcos dictatorship. She immigrated to the Bay Area in the mid-80s and continued her passionate pursuit of social justice in areas of international solidarity work, class and race, labor, women, immigrant and lesbian and gay rights issues.

Cecilia owns and operates a graphic design business, based in San Francisco, for 18 years. She has lived in the East Bay for over 15 years and has been a resident of Berkeley for eight years.
