Our forefathers fought for to create and protect our country, the country of freedom. We must maintain a strong national defense and to allow our citizens the right to keep and bear arms to continue to protect what we have.

The war in Afghanistan is a justifiable defense of our freedoms. However, the preemptive war in Iraq should never have been started. Our country cannot afford to continue the Iraq war and should get out as soon as practical.

Our standing in the world is not what it once was. Our nation is sinking into debt, our dollar is losing value and inflation is on the rise. This is caused by our big government`s out of control deficit spending. The majority of our problems can be corrected by spending cuts and balanced budgets.

Our country should oppose any agreement that infringes upon our sovereignty, such as creating a North American Union, which will destroy this nation and eliminate our freedoms.

Our country has been built by immigrants. Limited and legal immigration is good for our country. However, America can't support the current pace of immigration. If we don't reduce immigration we will become a third world impoverished nation.

Immigration should be limited to only those that are willing to assimilate and learn to speak our language.

We need to protect all our borders from terrorists, drug smuggling and illegal aliens.

We must stop government benefits and assistance for illegal aliens. Taxpaying Americans are already overburdened paying taxes for destitute legal Americans. We should deport and not give amnesty to the illegal aliens.

We have to protect our families by making it possible for one parent to stay home with small children instead of both parents having to work. Our American companies need to quit exporting our jobs to other countries. Management and labor should both work together to create a stronger America.

We must restore the greatness of our country. We must return to constitutional standards in government. The Republican Party can become the solution by returning to fiscally conservative principles.

Let's rebuild the Republican Party and return it to the great party it once was.
