Phil is a life-long resident of Alameda County, and has worked tirelessly to serve and protect our community. Now he asks for your support as he runs for Judge of the Alameda County Superior Court in order to continue his mission to provide a fair and just legal system for everyone.

For over 22 years Phil has protected our community as a Deputy District Attorney for the Alameda County District Attorney's Office.

Phil has helped keep our streets safe by prosecuting hundreds of felony cases in Alameda County Courts, including domestic violence, sexual assault, murder and identity theft. Phil served in the District Attorney's "career criminal" unit, making sure the worst offenders were held accountable for their crimes against citizens in Alameda County.

Phil has also served in the District Attorney's Consumer Fraud and Environmental Protection Division, where he investigated and prosecuted complex white-collar criminal cases against those who preyed on our community, including the elderly. Phil's tireless efforts have given voice to those who have been wronged, including much needed monetary restitution for many victims.

It is the years of experience in our community that makes Phil uniquely qualified to be a Judge for the Alameda County Superior Court. Phil's broad range of experience has earned him the endorsement of many well-respected county and state officials, Alameda County Judges, and private citizens.

Phil is proud to have been born and raised in Alameda County. Phil attended local public schools, and graduated from California State University, Hayward (now Cal State University, East Bay). Phil received his law degree from the University of California Hastings College of the Law.

Phil has quietly yet consistently served Alameda County throughout his professional career.

Phil currently sits as a Commissioner for the San Leandro Board of Zoning Adjustments. Phil also has served on the City of San Leandro Vision Task Force and the Committee for San Leandro's Future.

Phil served over 15 years as a member of the Alameda County Democratic Central Committee, including two years as Vice-Chair of the Committee. Phil also served on the California Democratic Party Central Committee.

Phil has served on the Board of Directors for the Southern Alameda County Bar Association, and as a volunteer judge for the McCollum Youth Court, an alternative, community-based program for first-time juvenile offenders.

Phil is married with three children.

The residents of Alameda County deserve and expect judges who are honest, competent and fair. Through his lifelong experiences and dedication to Alameda County, Phil Daly is the candidate who best possesses these traits.
