Candidate for
Member, Democratic Party Central Committee; County of Alameda; Assembly District 16

During my long history of public service I have consistently worked on behalf of Democratic causes and candidates and currently serve as an appointed member of the ACDCC. I am also a member of the state level Democratic Central Committee and was recently elected as an alternate delegate to the Democratic National Convention this summer in Denver, Colorado. My further dedication to community is evidenced by my membership on the District 6 Community Development Block Grant Board (CDBG), and Community Action Partnership Board (CAP). Recently I became a member of Emerge of California, the nationally acclaimed Democratic political training program for promising women and also served on the Mayor's Task Force on Youth Violence. I continue to volunteer on numerous events and activities in East Oakland, as has been my track record for many years.
