I grew up in Alameda County and was born at Washington Hospital, Fremont CA. I've worked in the two biggest industries of the South Bay--defense and semiconductors. I am now 37 years old, have a fiance, and am a communicant Church member at 1st Orthodox Presbyterian Church. My first degree was in history; and I have a great passion for American, European, and mediterranean civilization. My family is from this area and owned businesses in San Jose while it was still a 'Garden City'. I remember Fremont when it was apricot orchards and cauliflower farms. The memory of summer swimming in the rivers and quarries, gleaning fruit in nearby farms, and hiking our hills inspired me, as I grew up, to join both Boy Scouts and the Sierra Club. I still consider myself a 'conservationist', and I miss the rural character of this area. One of my favorite parks is Ardenwood. I hope we can keep a portion of our small town and pedestrain character. I am very happy to live in the Bay Area, and enjoy all it has to offer. We can truly do almost anything here.
