Ian Hayes was born and raised in New Cumberland. A 1991 graduate of Cedar Cliff High School, Ian enlisted in the United States Navy and served in Naval Intelligence with a Top Secret Clearance until he received his Honorable Discharge in 1999.

During his enlistment, he was tasked with meeting time-sensitive mission objectives while serving as the Lead Operator, a post normally held by a higher ranking enlisted serviceperson. This military experience was invaluable to his growth and maturity as a man and as a leader in both his personal and business life. It also provided him with the knowledge, strength and experience necessary to achieve any task set before him.

After serving in the United States Navy, Ian began his career as a Financial Adviser. Today, he is personally responsible for managing millions of dollars of peoples money, always following strict ethical and moral standards in order to remain a good steward of his clients money. The work of meeting the financial objectives of his clients has shown him the importance of truly hearing what concerns them. Through these relationships, he's better able to assist these families with their goals and desires.

Ian continues to be an active member of his community. He is the Vice-Chairman of the Lower Allen Township Republican Committee and the Committeeman for the 4th Precinct. He is also a member of the West Shore Chamber of Commerce where he serves on the Legislative and Military Liaison Committee. In addition, he is a member of the Highland Neighborhood Association and a member of the Parent/Teacher Association (PTA) for Highland Elementary.

He continues to honor his country and those who fought for our nation through his membership in the American Legion Post #143 in New Cumberland.

Ian earned an Associates degree in Pre/Teaching and Communications and continued his education while serving in the United States Navy at Hawaii Pacific University. He and his wife Jennifer, with their 3 children, Connor, Moira and Aidan, reside in Lower Allen Township and are active members of St. Theresa's Catholic Church.
