Candidate for
State Representative; District 160; Republican Party

We have many reasons to be proud Pennsylvanians. The Pennsylvania Legislature has set forth an aggressive agenda to create jobs, protect the environment, and save open space. Six cities in Pennsylvania were listed in the 2003, Expansion Management magazine's, "50 Hottest Cities for Manufacturing, Expansions, and Relocations". Pennsylvania is fourth in industrial consumer and electronic manufacturing, eighth in high-tech employment, and eleventh in job creation. Our increased property values are the result of our states' successful progress in the areas of education, health care, and business enterprise (economic development).

Our Legislature continues to struggle with two important issues that effect all Pennsylvanians, property tax reform and continued accessibility to the highest quality health care possible. We have taken some steps but have more work ahead of us. We need to put aside partisan differences to keep Pennsylvania growing and moving forward.

Together we also need to work at continually improving the economic prosperity and quality of life for all Pennsylvanians. We must continue to focus our efforts on eliminating the Capital Stock and Franchise Tax, increase research and development tax credits to expand the number of high-tech jobs, and continue efforts to reduce our inheritance tax - a tax that destroys family farms and small business.

Again, I pledge to be a full time legislator. I will continue to draw on my past experience as a business owner, Township Commissioner, and as an experienced legislator to effectively represent your needs and issues in the General Assembly.
