Delegate; Democratic National Party Convention; Congressional District 4 Voter Information

PA has a total of 187 delegates and 26 alternates to the Democratic National Convention. 103 delegates and 16 alternates are elected in the Primary. Pennsylvania uses a proportional representation system based on the results of the Primary to select 158 of the delegates to the Convention. In addition there are 26 "super delegates" and unpledged add-ons chosen by the Democratic committee on June 7th. All delegates and alternates must pledge to a specific presidential candidate. The presidential candidates have right of approval over who may run as a delegate or alternate pledged to their candidacy.

This contest will only appear on Democratic party ballots.
