Smart Voter Political Philosophy for Michael West

Candidate for
Member, City Council; City of Walnut

This information is provided by the candidate

Dear Walnut Voter,

I think we need better management in Walnut, please support me for positive change:

I'd prevent new ticket cameras planned for the city, and work to remove the existing one. I will focus on your safety, not obtaining money from you.

I will work with neighborhoods to install speed bumps, if they desire them, to keep cars at safer speeds.

I will work to reduce traffic congestion with left-turn-yield-on green signals to get you moving in the city.

I'm the only candidate who took a stand opposing the Zen Center locating in Walnut, due to the excessive traffic congestion it would have caused for the children at Suzanne Middle School- where my child attends.

I will not support raising your property taxes, or fees, for any reason. City government can function on a budget, just like you do.

I ask for your vote to make Walnut better. Please visit my website for more:
