Whittier needs healthy, profitable businesses in order to thrive.
The new Whittwood Town Center has been a great success, and plans to revitalize Uptown are nearly complete. We need to continue encouraging vigorous economic development and better shopping opportunities for our residents. That includes working hard to make sure that the former Nelles and Alpha Beta properties are developed in ways that add value to the city and benefit surrounding neighborhoods.
