Proposition 91. Transportation Funds -- State of California (Initiative Constitutional Amendment - Majority Approval Required)
Fail: 3,299,749 / 41.7% Yes votes ...... 4,607,602 / 58.3% No votes
Prohibits certain motor vehicle fuel taxes from being retained in General Fund and delays repayment of such taxes previously retained. Changes how and when General Fund borrowing of certain transportation funds is allowed.

Proposition 92. Community Colleges. Funding. Governance. Fees -- State of California (Initiative Constitutional Amendment and Statute - Majority Approval Required)
Fail: 3,468,943 / 42.7% Yes votes ...... 4,651,996 / 57.3% No votes
Establishes independent community college districts and Board of Governors. Requires minimum funding for schools and community colleges to be calculated separately. Sets fees at $15/unit and limits future increases.

Proposition 93. Limits on Legislators' Terms in Office -- State of California (Initiative Constitutional Amendment - Majority Approval Required)
Fail: 3,807,067 / 46.4% Yes votes ...... 4,402,742 / 53.6% No votes
Reduces permissible state legislative service to 12 years. Allows 12 years' service in one house. Current legislators can serve 12 years in current house, regardless of prior legislative service.

Proposition 94. Amendment to Indian Gaming Compact -- State of California (Referendum - Majority Approval Required)
Pass: 4,645,274 / 55.8% Yes votes ...... 3,685,926 / 44.2% No votes
"Yes" Vote approves, and "No" Vote rejects, a law that ratifies an amendment to existing gaming compact between the state and Pechanga Band of Luiseņo Mission Indians.

Pass: 4,642,915 / 55.8% Yes votes ...... 3,678,611 / 44.2% No votes
"Yes" Vote approves, and "No" Vote rejects, a law that ratifies an amendment to existing gaming compact between the state and Morongo Band of Mission Indians.

Proposition 96. Amendment to Indian Gaming Compact -- State of California (Referendum - Majority Approval Required)
Pass: 4,619,969 / 55.6% Yes votes ...... 3,681,932 / 44.4% No votes
"Yes" Vote approves, and "No" Vote rejects, a law that ratifies an amendment to existing gaming compact between the state and Sycuan Band of the Kumeyaay Nation.

Proposition 97. Amendment to Indian Gaming Compact -- State of California (Referendum - Majority Approval Required)
Pass: 4,621,142 / 55.7% Yes votes ...... 3,676,646 / 44.3% No votes
"Yes" Vote approves, and "No" Vote rejects, a law that ratifies an amendment to existing gaming compact between the state and Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians.
