Dear Friends

Public Education in California continues to face challenges like budget, curriculum, student performance and expectations, community involvement, hiring and retaining 1st Rate teachers, facilities and many more.

I am a product of public education. Currently my eldest child is a successful product of Berryessa Schools and the younger one is in the District (Piedmont Middle School). I have lived in Berryessa since 1999 and have served on many different school, district, city and community groups. Within the district, I have participated in School Site Councils and Berryessa District Advisory Council.

As an adjunct faculty and teacher at various universities and academic institutes, I understand the challenges we face. I have the necessary experience, commitment and fresh ideas to meet these challenges. I was honored to be chosen by school board of trustees to fill the vacancy created by the election of Kansen Chu to City Council.
