A smart, practical and fresh approach to local politics is key in doing what's best for the community. Government, now more than ever, must listen to and be aware of a much broader and more complicated constituency. Making informed choices that will directly affect the people must not only be carried out, but explained in a manner that everyone understands, and that politicians can ultimately justify. Accountablity and results should be everyone's priority; I know that they are mine.
