Smart Voter Political Philosophy for Michael A. Mayer

Candidate for
Commissioner; Township of Nether Providence; Ward 5

This information is provided by the candidate

There is little in "political philosophy" that impacts the duties of a township commission. The great national political debates of our times has little impact on the day-to-day management of a local township municipality.

Open and transparent government is critical at all levels of government but none more so than your local government. Your quality of life, including your sense of safety and security, is a primary concern for your local government. The "nuts and bolts" of operating the township is my "political philosophy".

There are no Democratic or Republican "positions" on Nether Providence. We are all neighbors and we should all participate as equals in local government.
