Make township government open, efficient and acting in the best interests of all township residents
? Upgrade the township website to allow residents to do business with the township electronically, applying and paying for permits and services ? Make township government open and transparent by making information fully accessible to all residents ? Make township information available in an easily accessible manner, both on-line and through 311 telephone service ? Post all minutes of township commission and boards meetings on line promptly after the conclusion of the meeting ? Make agenda of township meetings publicly available in a timely and accessible manner, with detailed information about agenda items ? Develop the public recreational areas of the former Haverford State Hospital site in an environmentally friendly manner, while providing maximum opportunities to township residents. The development should be in consultation with the School District, taking into consideration the facilities and needs of the school district. Youth athletic leagues also should be given the opportunity to offer input ? Conduct a township audit to be sure that township resources are being put to the best available use ? Update the outdated township master plan to reflect current realties of land use and to anticipate continued cooperation between various public entities owning land in the township, including the township government and the school district Contributions to ELECT ABEL COMMITTEE gratefully accepted
