Questions & Answers

1. What are your qualifications for office? (50 word limit)

Concerned listener and leader who attempts to research the facts and make educated decisions which will provide the best outcome. Believe that I can take action where needed to best represent the residents of Ward, won't sit on the bench.

2. What plans do you have to address your top three priorities? (100 word limit)

Improve the safety of our city neighborhoods working with emergency services and community involvement to help protect our residents. Development of a realistic street repair plan and enabling city officials to apply and obtain all available state and federal funding to put that plan into place. Redesign the city tax code which is antiquated and unfair to our young people and older residents.

3. State three actions that you recommend to promote regional cooperation, and explain how you would implement each action? (150 word limit)

Improve safety working to secure funding and equipment for our public safety department by working with the state, federal agencies including Department of Homeland Security to insure we have the right tools to serve our residents in Norwood. Research grant writing for street repairs and to effectively submit the grant applications to obtain the maximum funding each year to improve our city roads from both state and federal sources. Work in conjunction with other surrounding communities in finding successes in their approach to issues of concern to our residents and making plans to implement those successes where we see a good fit in Norwood.
