Questions & Answers

1. What are your qualifications for office? (50 word limit)

I have a family business background and business education. Twenty years experience as high school secretary gives me insider knowledge of how schools are run. I'm the Treasurer of Concerned Citizens for Better Schools, support group of the SLSDistrict. I'm passionate about the success of this district.

2. What plans do you have to address your top three priorities? (100 word limit)

I will become educated as to the function of school boards and their members and learn to carry out that function. I plan to be the board member who is available to the children, parents and taxpayers of this district by way of e-mail, phone and personal contact.

3. What is your position on amending the Ohio Constitution with regard to the funding of public schools? (150 word limit)?

It is imperative that Ohio find a better way to finance public education so that public education in Ohio survives and thrives.
